5/20/2021 Thursday LATE UPDATE

 Before turning in I checked my email one more time and there was Kaiwi and P02 update from Melody.  AND then there was AMAZING NEWS from Gamma Gayle.  

Gayle received and email from a friend of hers today who spotted a seal with a tag of J06. He wanted to know if she was familiar with this critter. WELL RJ06 is Aka born on May 4, 2017 and hasn't been seen in years! He was born on Rabbit Island to Sadie and he was the last pup named by our beloved DB.  I think we're all in a little shock right now!   NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!

Melody was with Kaiwi and P02 today. She first saw them in the water playing with the buoys. They came out of the water an hour or so later. For the rest of the day until she left they were on the beach snoozing and nursing. Kaiwi is starting to get thinner as P02 is getting fatter. Even looks like P02's coat is starting to change.
