Today's dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕. We also have some video from Melody that she took on Saturday.
Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 10:45 to 1:00 and there was only one fat weaner on island today. He hauled out alone about 11:00 between the 3BS and SRI. So he made his way from LPB yesterday all the way down to the 3BS. He was ID'd by his plump weaner rump, no tags and NB on his LFF. He never gave her a full belly view, but Marilyn and I are fairly sure P01 is a male.
At a westside location Team R&B was thrilled to find RL20 Kalua again. It's been a few days of not
seeing him and "Mama Bear" was getting worried. They stayed with him for 2 hours in the morning and then another 30 minutes in the afternoon. It does appear he put on a little weight, very green and moved about, scratching himself and some stretches. But mostly he snoozed. He did make his way to the water hole. There were no signs of injuries, hooks, or lines in other words he's good.On their travels they found the lovely miss Lei Ola RH48 snoozing peacefully on the rocks at the bay.
At another westside location they were surprised to find RH32 Kaale alone today. He was in the company with RH76 yesterday, who probably got tired of his pestering and left him. He is looking plump and good condition.
They spotted two animals after hearing them argue. It was RL42 Leia and along side her was R3CU. Both seals were well hidden and difficult to see. There were lots of people along side the road, walking and hanging out. They managed to get a photo and ID'd R3CU by his cookie scar on lower back.
Melody sent a couple more photos of Kaiwi and P02 from her visit on Saturday. She also sent a video of Mom and pup after their swim.
