12-30-11 Yesterday's News Stella Family & KP2

Looks like someone was a little disappointed KP2 didn't pose with her for a kodak moment.  I hope she enjoyed her visit with him.

At 0709 I found Buster (RV08) molting away (D#5...5%) up in the vegetation behind Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. He would later move down and spent the rest of the day there.
When I got back to Makai Pier at 1001 I found that Kolohe (RW22) had joined Buster on the water front rocks. He too would remain all day.

Once again Kaiwi was a no show in the SE quadrant.
Team Billand called at 0744 with the report of Kermit (R012) fronting #1708, White Plains.

At 1032 the found Benny (RE74), once again at Paradise Cove. He loves Luau food (and Tahitian dancers).

Marilyn (Missus Whisperer) did the Ka'ena Point trek today. She reported 761 and Ka'ena (RO40).

12-29-11 DB's Dailies Kolohe&Buster@RI, Kermit@WP, Irma@WSK, R028@Elec.Bch, Rocky@IRQ

The Kaiwi Kuest actually began before I hit the road this morning. I got mail from Team Billand which included a transmitter map Charles had sent them, showing the whereabouts of both Kekoa and Kaiwi yesterday. To my complete shock it showed that both of them appeared to be at the west end of the Reef Runway, basically at the entrance to Pearl Harbor. You've gone a long way baby !!!! She was a no show today here in the SE quadrant. Whats next ? Only Kaiwi knows.

At 0744 on my first look at Rabbit Island I found Kolohe (RW22) just hauling out, 40 ft left of 1BS. He would move up and into the Morning Glory, lookin' for his gang, but nobody was home. He went to snooze mode. He would later move down to cool off.

On a pan at 0748 I found Buster (RV08) in the vegetation, behind Seal Rock Inlet. He too would later move down to cool off. His D#5 molt is still 3%.

Team Billand checked in at 0644 with the report of Kermit (R012) fronting #1708, White Plains.
At 0732 they found Irma (R010) at Wind Sock.

At 0818 the Billands reported 2AW at Nimitz Cove, between the bunkers.
At 1028 the found Pohaku (RO28) at Electric Beach.

Posse member Clay Gates called the Billands at 1145 to advise that he had Rocky (RH58) at Iroquois Point.
Team Billand checked in at 1648 with the report of Benny (RE74) at Paradise Cove. Mid Luau , of course.
In the Yesterday's News department the Malaekahana animal yesterday was photo confirmed as R5AY.

I had also recieved email from posse member Dennis Kunkel advising of a possible La'akea sighting yesterday between Kahuku Point and High Rock.

The Magic Island animal of 12-26-11 was also photo confirmed as Rocky (RH58).

The Kaiwi Kuest was on from dawn to dusk. We never found the little girl.

At 0913 I found Kolohe (RW22) and RM38 at Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. They would remain all day. I never saw Buster but he may well have been hiding in the sand dunes.

At 0600 Team Billand reported Kermit (R012) fronting #1707, White Plains. He would be run off by screaming kids at 1658.

At 0717 the Billands found 2AW at Nimitz Cove, near the 1st bunker.

Dana called at 1102 with multiple animal reports. Firstly, she reported 2 animals in Ewa Beach, one near Ewa Beach Park and one near 185C access. Posse member Clay Gates was on it, and provided photo IDs . The beach park animal was confirmed at Irma (R010). The #185 animal was confirmed as Rocky (RH58). At 1343 Clay reported at new arrival at Rocky's location. Team Billand would confirm this ID as M&M (R020) at 1439.

Dana's 1102 call also reported an animal at Malaekahana Beach Park. At 1746 Dana called again to advise that an unnamed source had reported the ID as La'akea (RK82) . Awaiting photo confirmation at this writing.
Again at 1102 Dana reported an animal in Hauula. Unfortunately, the animal departed before a volunteer could get an ID.

Lastly, Dana reported an animal at Right Spot's Spot, Turtle Bay. She would later advise that the animal was Right Spot. Awaiting photos.

Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) at Tracks at 1402.
