Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:27 to 2:01 pm and there were six seals during that time. 

MO3 and PO3 were swimming during the first hour. They hauled out of the LPB surge channel about 1:28 pm and moved up the beach. Then PO3 started nursing before ultimately going into snooze mode. Both MO3 and PO3 seem to be doing well.

About 40 feet Makapuu of the 1BS was Juvenile Female: juvenile size, light yellowish-tan female belly and two red tags. When Marilyn checked later she had left that location and almost immediately saw her hauling out near the 3BS with an Adult Male in pursuit.

Marilyn had seen the Adult Male about 100 feet Makapuu of the 3BS when she started viewing. It appears that he had been pursued by Pua RF34 and PO4 who were swimming between 3BS and SRI. Later the AM reentered the water and Marilyn lost sight of him. Then at 1:10 pm was when he pursued the JF up the beach. There was some interaction between the two, but they both snoozed some.

RF34 Puaa and her pup PO4 hauled out between 3BS and SRI at about 12:53 pm. Later PO4 nursed and then went into snooze mode. Both Pua and PO4 seem to be doing well.

Marilyn checked in on the east side and found that TempN25 was in a different location. He was by the lifeguard stands. There was a SRA established. TempN25 was ID'd by his sub-adult size, applied N25 bleaches and a scar near his LFF. 

Team R&B started at pokai and near the zen area they found Nalu R3CX. He was clean, no line or hook.  Just apart from him was the lovely Kala RH76. She was resting peacefully in her zen spot. There was no interaction while they were there.

They got word from a friend that there was a seal at Nimitz. It took them a while to get out there but

when they made it out they found a seal on Kermit's Reef. They ID'd the seal as RL08, they could see his big lump on his rear side. Seems his cyst drains, fills up and drains. He seems to be doing fine.

Waves knocked him off the reef, he was going on to haul out but a woman was on shore, so he left heading in the direction of Diamond Head.

Marilyn had a busy seal day.  It started with finding TempN25 once again on the east side. He was ID'd by his small sub-adult size, N25 applied bleaches on his mid dorsal and front of his hind flippers, the scar as the rear base of his LFF, and mottled male belly. He looks healthy. 

Marilyn heard there had been seals in the Kaimana Beach area pretty often over the past 10 days. Since she was going into the city she decided to check it out.

When she arrived she saw RN14 Kalani was in the water near the Natatorium wall. He then hauled out and moved up to RK96 Kaiwi who was snoozing next to the wall.  RN14 Kalani was ID'd by his cue ball size natural bleach on his right side and male belly.

RK24 Bruno kept reappearing and seemed to want to haul out to his mom Kaiwi. RN14 was not letting RK24 anywhere near Kaiwi and would vocalize and charge at him whenever he came by. Marilyn was there from 11:30 to 12:10 and RK24 came by four times.. He would then swim away usually in the Ewa direction around the Natatorium.

On several of his passes he would come next to the shore and people would have to scurry out of the way and then he would swim away. 

Marilyn then spent from 2:48 to 4:07 pm viewing Rabbit Island.  She noted that it appears the majority of the sooty terns have left Rabbit Island. There were five seals seen on island today.

Again on LPB were MO3 and her pup PO3. They were mostly snoozing some distance from each other. PO3 headed for the water with mom watching, but then PO3 returned to mom to nurse.

On waterfront rocks about 60 feet Lanikai side of the SRI was RF34 Pua and her pup PO4. The pup was mostly hidden behind mom, just like the last two days. They seem to be just fine.

Near the SRI channel was an Unknown Adult seal: adult size, brown coat, unknown sex or if there were tags.

Team R&B started their morning at Pokai. They found the lovely Miss Kala RH76 alone on the rocks. She was resting peacefully.

They had their eye out looking for Nalu and just when they were ready to give up they spotted a seal passing by in the water. They lost sight of the seal and not sure which direction it headed. They walked back to where Kala was resting and much to their surprise was R3CX Nalu. Miss Kala wasn't exactly happy with his arrival, she whooped at

him. That didn't deter him and was happy to have found her and just kept hauling up near her. Then there was pure sweetness, both laying next to each other peacefully.

Next stop was at Kahe where they found three males resting on the rocks.  RP30 Puka was with RL20 Kalua. It appears RL20 has tossed the line and is not hooked, truly amazing.

To the right of Kalua was was RG28 Lefty.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:52 to 2:28 pm and there were seven seals on island today,

MO3 and her pup PO3 spent much of their time snoozing on LPB. PO3 is getting bigger by the day.  PO3 ultimately started nursing and was still in that mode when Marilyn left.

RF34 Pua and her pup PO4 were between 3BS and SRI having a nursing session when Marilyn arrived. PO4 was mostly hidden behind mom. Then the pup must have gone into snooze mode because Marilyn did not see PO4 again.

About 60 feet further in the Makapuu direction on the rock flats Lanikai side of SRI were two seals:

Adult Male: adult size, dark coat, dark male belly, unsure about tags.

Close to the Adult Male was an Adult Female: adult size, mottled golden brown female belly and at least one tag. There may have been a scar on her upper chest.

Scanning the shoreline at 2:13 pm, Marilyn spotted a mostly hidden Unknown Unidentified near the entrance to the RRB surge channel. Marilyn never saw anything but the top of its head and the back of the seal.

Marilyn got word from Gamma Gayle that Temp25 was in the neighborhood. Marilyn went to check it out and hung out with him for a bit. TempN25 is a large juvenile/small sub-adult with a make belly, no tags, scare behind and above the LFF, applied N25 bleaches in front of rear flippers and another mid-dorsal. He seems healthy.

Team R&B studied the water at pokai for quite awhile. Finally they spotted a seal foraging on Rest Camp side of the bay. It was R3CX Nalu foraging all on his own. There were lots of fish for him to fill up on. A boobie bird hovered over, Team R&B got a pic of the bird with a fish in its mouth, all while Nalu was passing by.  Nalu never hauled out. They went back later int he day and he was still out there alone foraging.

Next they found RL20 Kalua at kahe on the rocks. He had a long line coming from the right side of his mouth, and there was no hook visible. The line was on his hind flipper along his belly, down to his hind flippers on the rocks.  A volunteer arrived and Team R&B showed her where the seal was. Shortly after the volunteer arrived, RL20 rolled in the water. It looked like he was going to haul out again, but then decided to leave.  RL20 headed back towards the outfall area once again.  Team R&B commented they have lost count on how many hooks he has had.

The later part of the day the dolphins were going crazy. They look like they're having fun all the time.
