I arrived at Irma's at 0545, to
find Irma (R010) waiting for me right where I'd left her last night. She had
obviously overnighted. I redid the cordon and continued the adventure. Posse
member Kathy called at 1149 to advise that Irma was gone. I went over and picked
up the stuff. I did not see Irma again today.
Posse member Gayle called at
0725 to report that Kaiwi (RK96) had also overnighted, and was at Lanai
Lookout. I spent a few minutes with her in the morning, and returned at 1439.
Kaiwi would leave at 1445 when the rising tide got to her.
At 1116 Buster (1421) hauled
out 80 ft right of 3BS. He would later relocate to the left end of the beach at
Rabbit Island , where he remained the rest of the day.
Lesley
checked in at 0729 with the report of T21M, who had also overnighted at Kawela
Bay. She would call again at 1426 to advise that T21M had departed middayish.
Team
Billand called at 0914 with the report of Kerby (RW08) at Maili Point.
Next the Billands reported Pohaku (R028) at Guard Rails
Beach. She was run off by a dog.
Dera called at 1153 with a
report from Eileen at the Reef Runway of Kekoa (RK72) at that location. The
early shift had also reported that Kekoa and an UU adult animal had been there
at 0600.
In the
"Yesterday's News" department, photos were received from Larry Stamey,
documenting Ka'ena (RO40) and Noa (R6FI) at Ka'ena Point yesterday. Thank You
Larry & Jean.
