March 1, 2026 Sunday's' Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕

They started their day once again looking for little N45. They checked the places where they have found seen him before and did not see the little buggah. They did see a turtle coming in on shore.
Then they spotted a little seal from afar, so they hurried over to find; RU40. He was resting comfortably. They did a check later in the day just before sunset and he was still there.

Continuing their check of the west side they found two more seals. There was RW02 PvKauai at seal inlet and he was resting comfortably. Then there was RU12 was on lower rocks.

At pipes they saw a seal foraging. There were snorkelers and a jet ski close by. Team R&B couldn't make an ID, just not enough time, in that the seal disappeared.  The seal was reported as an Unknown Adult

Next stop they found RG32 resting alone. He is the same seal they saw with the applied bleach that looks like AYO.

Team R&B made their way to plains and found the lovely Miss Aukai RL12. She was visited by another seal but it had left before they got
there. Big thanks to the lifeguards out there, they really do care about the seals.
They did see that a fisherman had hooked a turtle, and thankfully he cut the line.

They were heading home after a very long day looking for Na'au N45. Just before sunset they made a quick stop at the beach where they has seen RU40. But now there was their boy N45 Na'au aka Temp 402. He was resting with a turtle peacefully. Needless to say they were thrilled and relieved to go home knowing he is okay.

February 20, 2026 Friday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕

They started their day as they have searching for N45 aka Temp 402. When they arrived at their first stop they were thrilled to find both N45 with RU40 aka Wai. They were together sleeping in the morning. As the day went on first N45 moved down the beach and then U40 followed.  There was no action just snoozing.
N45 went to his little pond, head in the water, body on sand. U40 never entered the water, and it was overcast so it rained twice.
Team R&B put up the sticks to make a path for any visitors that might come. Over the five hours there were 25 people and one dog at the end.  Team R&B noted that N45 seems better although he's still skinny, but better.
At another west side stop they found three seals.  First there was RH76 Kala resting on the rocks. This girl is looking mighty big! To her left was RW02 PvKauai.  They didn't know who the third seal was, other than it was smaller than both RW02 & Kala. They reported it as an Unknown Sub-adult.

And you just never know what Team R&B are going to come across on their journeys. Todays critter was an old goat high up on the rocks!

February 19, 2026 Thursday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:23 to 1:26 and there were two seals seen during that time.
Initially near the SRI surge channel entrance was a Sub-adult Male: small sub-adult size, yellow male belly and two red tags. Later the SM moved up the cliff.
Far out on RRB was a Sub-adult Unknown: sub-adult size, older coat, two red tags and no info on sex.

Team R&B started their day finding N45 aka Temp 402. He was alone and fast asleep. After about 45
minutes went by on this windy day, they prepared the sticks to set up a zone. N45 woke up and something caught his attention. He scurried out on the sand.  Much to Team R&B's surprise there was another seal sleeping up near the rocks.  It was RU40 and the two of them stayed together for the day.
A volunteer came out for about an hour, no signs were put up, just the sticks Team R&B set up. At the end of the day the two were together until people had to walk by. TU40 wasn't happy, he scurried right and left, barking making his way to the water.
N45 stayed by the wall for the night.

After checking the area they found another seal. IT was RS32 , she was resting on shore. She was in the company of a little little turtle.

The only other sighting was a seal foraging off the outfall. They didn't have enough to go on for an ID so it was reported as an Unknown Adult.

February 15, 2026 Sunday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕

This morning they headed out and went straight to Temp 402. He was still there, just moved to the sand.
They noted he had a big poop in the walkway, which seemed to be a very healthy meaning he had something to eat.
They brought sticks to make a zone which worked great. There was only one smartass , who didn't want to listen and had a lot to say.
Temp 402 stayed still the whole day, his head was in the water and body on shore.  Lots of people came by today. Team R&B lost count to the numbers, there were a few dogs as well.
They  went back in the later part of the day to check. Their skinny boy flipped over, yawned and rolled deeper into the pond, climbed on the reef and took off.
Making a stop at another west side location they spotted a seal snoozing. They ID'd RW02 PvKauai on the lower rocks.  Then over at seal inlet they spotted Miss Kala RH76 stretched out and sleeping.

Next stop they spotted a small seal hauling up. IT was the cute RU40 who has some green on her coat.  She really small and they were happy to have seen her today.

When they got to Kahe they spotted a seal in small pond. It was RG32 alone and snoozing peacefully.
Then from afar they saw an Unknown Adult hauled out at tracks. The UA has a CC scar, they just weren't able to make an ID.
