06/23/2020 (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

I can honestly say I could do with a calm un-eventful day around here.
In the HMS world the day started with RN58 Luana and R330 Squinty overnighted down in front it's the 3rd night.
Further down the beach PO4 Kai D62 was playing at the entrance of Luana's Tide Pool. Down at BB/Tables there was a beautiful and fresh big turtle trail - very unusual place for a turtle haul out. It looked like it hauled out turned around and went back into the water.
At the point RL74 Kami was first hauled out on some outer reefs. With the tide coming up she entered the water and by chance I found her doing some weird yoga poses.
On another flat reef area R3CX was hauled out sleeping.
Around 5pm I headed down again and found Luana and Squinty near the waterline. They were washed by a wave and made their way up the beach. Kai was hauled out on a mini patch of sand sleeping away. It's rare to see this kid sleeping.
At sunset I checked on the three, but Squinty had left possibly because of the choppers flying back and forth. Luana was up in the Naupakas where she'll most likely spend the night. Kai was going to get wet where he was and may have moved further up later.
More tomorrow ๐ŸŒบ
