It was 9 am when they spotted a seal resting in the lower rocks. Finally the seal moved and they ID'd RH76 by her N77 applied bleach mark.
At 11 am they spotted a second seal, but it was a swim by and didn't land. They noticed it had a green face and that was about it. Surf was big which made getting any credible photos most difficult.
Team Billand left to check other location when they got a tip of three seals at KoOlina. They arrived and found Benny RE74, Ka'ale RH32 and Aukai RL12.
Benny made a move, and Kaale barked at him protecting his wahine. Aukai just layed there.
People were gathering to check out the seals. lots of people, talking loud and closer than needed.
Benny left the beach but hung around in the water doing his infamous Benny bobbing watching Ka'ale and Aukai.
This is when some disgruntle man with his family came complaining about the stupid seals. Team Billand informed security and left at 1:45.
Benny ended up hauling out at the east side of the lagoon.
