06/21/2020 Sunday Act-With-Care (89) Monk Seal Dailies.

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Marilyn

Team Billand had a short seal day in that they were off celebrating Father's Day...   Happy Father's Day Robert!
They started off doing their usual checks but the beaches were crazy with people today. They finally came across RH76 Kala and RF28 together laying next to each other peacefully.
At one point Kala moved as if she was going to break away, but RF28 gave her a flipper hug and held her close.  SWEET!
RF28's bleach spot on left shoulder was visible as well as Kala's applied bleach.

Team Billand didn't stay long left them together and off they went for quality family time.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island this afternoon and conditions were sunny.
Mom and PO5 were at left point beach making it a little more of a challenge documenting them because of the breaking waves.
Mom and PO5 moved due to the rising tide. Pup is getting larger and showed off it's belly for a bit. Unfortunately the wave action made it difficult to determine its sex.
PO1 Kahukai was about 60 feet to the right of the "DBS"  ( I know it's one of the blue signs). He was ID'd by his small size and no tags.
PO3 Momona was another 100 feet right of PO1. He was ID'd by his chubby weaner size and coloration, male belly and no tags.
Unknown Adult was on Rocky Right Beach and appeared to come out of the inlet. Marilyn briefly saw a mottled belly, but unsure of gender and no visible tags. The seal has an older coat and some green around the eyes.
