May 17, 2019 (part 3) Lesley's Ka'ena Update from 5/16

Aloha all,
It's been a crazy 3 weeks around here. Things have settled down a little and we're getting ready for the Summer.
I've been doing dawn patrol followed by a visit or 2 during the day and wrapping up with sunset
RN58 "Luana" PO2 "Kalua" D9 are doing great. Swimming sessions are taking them back and forth and soon into a little more deep waters. Pup nurses well and is very responsive to mom.
This evening I went down to our front and found RO40 "Ka'ena" sleeping peacefully near the waterline. He was documented mid morning by Team T&D at Hidden Beach, later at another location before settling down here.  Will see in the morning if he's still around.

I went out to the NARS with Molly to do the Yellow Face Bee survey and it's being a success. I asked her for some indo to share with you all 🐝   More tomorrow 🌺
