On my morning check of RN58 "Luana" & PO2 "Kalua" D13 they were in the water. And the same went happened on all the other checks of the day till sunset. On the pit stops haul outs some nursing was done, pup would take a cat nap and then he 'd move down to the water, mom would follow and off they'd go. They hauled out at sunset like two gold submarines.
RO40 "Ka'ena" did a swim by at sunset, tried to haul out in 5 different spots and when I last saw him he was moving back into the water.
RK40 "Napua" spent the day in front of our place. It's the 3rd day she's here. She's looking like a sad racoon, with 2 long tears rolling down her face. She in a pre-molting mode.
This evening I had the pleasure to meet Bobbi and her husband. They are from Chicago and have been following the blog for many years. On one of their visits a couple of years ago they had the opportunity to meet DB. They are leaving tomorrow with their check list fulfilled, but I discovered a few minutes ago that they didn't meet "Da Blog Lady" so on their next trip they HAVE to let us know they are coming so we can get a group together to talk story with them. More tomorrow
Happy trails, big track, little track
Blog fans from Chicago!! Hi Bobbi & Hubby

This was a wonderful time to be on Oahu! Thank you to all those who regularly watch over the seals. I will follow along from a distance and be glad you are all here. I would love to " talk story" next time. Until then. . .Mahalo for your caring.
Bobbi
