May 19, 2019 (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

I've done dawn patrol, some checks during the day as well as sunset ones on RN58 "Luana" & PO2 "Kalua" D11 & D12

Yesterday I had a shorter day and today was back to normal.

"Luana" has been taking little "Kalua" on longer swims. 

He's been nursing & sleeping well.Today just after dawn I found them hauled out on the next beach. I saw him wonder around mom, enough not to be in body contact with her. The morning was very quiet. They went back to their beach and in the afternoon there was an ongoing stream of people coming by.   More tomorrow 

Can't say enough about this woman and her husband! Yes indeed a very special visitor!
