Team Billand first find came just before 9 am at a westside location. There was RG28 (male born 2015) was on the rocks snoozing alone. All his cookie cutter scars were showing and the one on left for flipper appears to be healing well.
He was still there when they checked late afternoon.
Next find was R366 at 10 am, he was on high rocks to left side. They got all the possible ID shots, since he has quite a few, they made sure they took plenty of photos. His left fore flipper is missing a didgit, and there is a healed cookie wound by flipper.
They also noted two scar on the right neck area.
Then off to another west side location Team Billand found RN14 Kalani with R366. Kalani was on the outside but not for long, as he spotted Lei Ola across from them on lower rocks. N14 dove into the water and climbed on the rocks to get to her.
Lei Ola made it clear she wasn't interested by whooping at him, slapping him with her hind flippers (so loud they heard the slap).
After that the boy finally moved away, but still stayed together for the day.
Leaving poor R366 alone on high rocks all day.
Meanwhile, Team Billand spotted a fourth seal foraging off shore. They watched saw a scar on its face, but better than that an applied bleach mark. N92 (RH92). She was doing 6 minutes dives off shore alone.
On their return check she was still foraging alone. ( must be a growing girl).
