Yesterday started very early by doing a dawn patrol check on RN58 "Luana" & PO2 "Kalua" D25. They were already in the water and I took many photos of waves and splashes. Photos before sunrise are very hard to take added to that waves... well I'll spare you of those photos.
In the evening I made it back just after sunset, so I also missed the good light. M&P were up near the Naupaka line tugged up for the night.
The NSOF - North Shore Ocean Fest was a tremendous
success. I got to see many friends old and new, old-new ones and even "DA PREZ" Donna on her BirthDay !!! Well Jack Johnson also showed up and sang a couple of songs, which did make the event kick off on a great start.
This morning another dawn patrol to check on RN58 "Luana" & PO2 "Kalua" D26 before heading up to Helemanu deep in the mountains behind Haleiwa. We drove thru cattle country, went for a cool hike and swim in a river.
Came back on time to do the sunset check on M&P. More tomorrow
crab invasion
well hello there
