As you can imagine with the current weather conditions, it's a challenge to be out there looking for seals but all the issues along with it. I hope everyone home safe, dry and your homes are with power and dry.
Team Billand did an early morning search for seals and didn't see any until 8:50 am at a west side beach. There they found Kekoa ALii RL72 on high mid rocks snoozing alone. He kept looking towards the ocean as if there were another critter, but Team Billand did not see any other critters.
They spent their time gathering the rest of the litter, bottles, and cans etc
When they were leaving they met up with Melody who was looking for RH92. Team Billand shared there find and that they hadn't seen her this morning.
As they were leaving avoiding all the mud puddles and big ponds they got a call of a seal at secrets.
So they headed out to KoOlina.
At 9:30 they arrived at KoOlina and ID'd RH92 which is wonderful news that she is out of the canal. There were four signs up put up by Auntie's boy.
Just after they left the site, Melody arrived. She informed Team Billand that RW22 Kolohe had joined RH92. *** NOTE*** since this afternoon Melody let Team Billand know that it was not Kolohe but RN14 Kalani that had joined RH92 at KoOlina.
Melody's next text informed them that both seals left the site.
Due to other commitments Team Billand had to cut their day short.
