Todays dailies are brought to you by Team T&D and Team R&B💕
Team T&D did Ka'ena point today and apparently it was a quiet day. They did meet up with Lesley at the point. They were all skunked ! Finally Lesley let them know she did spot a seal and it turned out to be R330 Squinty. He is about 75% molted. It's going to be so exciting seeing all these seals with their new coats. A little way down the beach was R407 Kawika.
Team R&B arrived at the bay early and surprise there were no seals! So they waited and took in the view. Finally they spotted two seals coming into the area. There was R3CX Nalu and RL20 Kalua. There was a small row boat comes in, Nalu hangs around the boats. RL20 stayed a little bit away.
Then Team R&B went to check on Kaale he is about 70% molted. He had some human visitors. As mentioned it will be nice to see all these seals when they are with their new coats.
They decided to check Ka'ena west after coming up empty at most of their stops. Lucky they found RG28 Lefty with a visitor, female seal to the right of him. They couldn't tell who this female is, it "might" be KG54, but they did not see any tags to know for sure.
Lastly they were heading home after a long day of looking and decided to make one last stop. So happy they did because there was RP30 Puka snoozing on the rocks. The sun was setting and it made it hard to get a good photo, but it was him.
