Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:38 to 2:42 pm and there were four seals seen during that time.
Alone out on the back Lanikai side of LPB was R416 Makali'i: subadult size, newer coat, light male belly with scars and dark patches.
In an extended group on the 1BS side of LPB were three seals:
Sub-adult Male: sub-adult size, tan male belly and two red tags.
RK24 Bruno: adult size, medium gray male belly and two red tags. Marilyn believes this to be RK24, although she did not see his lip scar or the scar on his right side.
Marilyn made a quick stop after leaving the pier to see if weaner RT62 was around. She did see her and she was in snooze mode. Marilyn was told RT62 had arrived in the morning.
Team R&B started their day at pokai where they found RH76 Kala. She was alone resting on the edge of the rocks and looking quite healthy.
As they were walking out a couple of dogs came out after them, they literally had to use a stick to keep them away. Thankfully one of the homeless guys called them off. This is such a sad situation all the way around.
Then Team R&B noticed a sign in the parking lot will be closed for the next couple of weeks due to filming. This stinks since they stop off here several times a day.
Heading over to rest-camp they observed three seals foraging off in the distance. They also noted there were jet skis, paddle boarders, kayaks and six canoes.
Finally around 10:30, the school of fish came in closer and the seals went crazy. They were catching the fish, gobbling them up, all while Team R&B watched. They also spotted a turtle passing by.
The first seal they ID'd was RH48 Lei Ola.
Next was R3CX Nalu. He is a pro at foraging and catching a lot of fish. At one point he and Lei Ola were racing to catch a fish or two.
They also observed RL20 Kalua who caught his fair share of fish. He mostly kept to himself most of the time. And they also noted he was quiet today, then again can't bark with fish in his mouth.
Last stop at cliffs where they found RL42 Leia. She was alone resting way inland against the rocks. She is looking healthy and beautiful. The waves were hitting her, tossing her around a bit, but she stayed and got her rest.
