Today's dailies are brought to you by Lesley and Team R&B💕.
Team R&B started their day at the bay which was busy with lots of boat activity. They found RL20 Kalua safe and sound in his little hide out. He is about 70% molted, can't wait to see this little one with his new coat. They spotted two seals foraging way off, they were RH48 Lei Ola and Nalu R3CX. Then they saw a shark, looked to be a black tip. Sadly this is what the chum brings in. Nalu was the only seal who came by the jetty, Lei Ola disappeared.
At another location they found their fat boy snoozing. Kaale RH32 was restless, flipping over and over, scratching. He is molting, they could see he started around his chest and neck area.
At the cliffs they found RL42 Leia, she was in a tough spot to get any decent photos. Team R&B left for their Ka'ena west hike. When they returned RL42 was still there on her side, barely able to see her. Her coat looks good, looking healthy. They could see the scar on her mouth area from a previous hooking.
They found good ole' Lefty RG28 enjoying a siesta in the hot sun. He was on shore and still there when they were on their way back from Kaena west.
While out they were reminiscing about the seals that have passed, Pohaku, R912, K88, who all went to to a certain spot. That when they spotted a little seal. There was RM31 Kai laying there all alone, on a tiny patch of sand. He looks good, green and exceptionally cute!
Team R&B's last seal of the day was Ka'ena RO40. He was alone in a shallow pond. He was actually snoring! They saw his tag 055 and the other stub of a tag. He is another green looking boy.
