10/13/2020 Tuesday (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

Yesterday I did a quick check in front and saw R330 Squinty D24 hauled out at our front step

This morning first check he was up in the Naupaka D25 so charming in his new coat.
On my monitoring to the point I saw RL98 Lina overnighted cuddled up among some rocks. Her shedding molt is starting to show in several spots.
RL74 Kami and RO40 Ka'ena were hauled out on rocks being gently rocked by waves.

Saw a big pod of dolphins, but the morning glare and distance made it hard to take photos. Still looking out to see my first whale.
Wedgetail Shearwater chicks are adorable and getting big for their burrows.
More tomorrow - be safe 🌺😷
