Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Lesley. Lesley's Ka'ena update is part two of the dailies.
Team Billand was out at 6:30 am and found Kawika R407. He was a bit more active and moved around more since he finished his molt. His coat is clean, gray and his cookie scar on his back were visible, as well as his cue ball sized bleach mark on his rump. They waited for his buddy to arrive but Ka'ale took his sweet time at the outfall. They finally spotted his bobbing head coming in.
At 9:25 Ka'ale arrived and he came in and spotted his buddy. He galumphed up to him slowly and
Kawika R407 woke immediately. They both entered the water and played like two little boys in the surf.Team Billand did notice fishing line around Ka'ale's neck area, it looks to be a light line. They did not see him struggling or disturbed by it.
At 11:19 Team Billand checked another west side location and found RL20 Kalua sleeping on rocks, inland alone. The old hooking like was visible, his coat is clean and there were no new markers. Later he moved in a bit due to the rising tide.
At 11:23 they noticed RL70 Leina coming in on the right side. She galumphed inland and never noticed RL20. Her vana bumps are gone. She may have smelled and aware of Kalua but never bothered him. As the tide came in she moved further up on the rocks.
