Went down early with my mini assistant Ka'ala. He's grandson #4 and made sure to make his on trails and wallows on the beach while I checked on R330 "Squinty" on D2 of his molt. There's no % to be given cause he just as very small patches here and there.
From the house I could see him he left mid morning. Probably to many people around. He was between our right beach access and CE Pt.
This evening I went down for a stroll with Ka'ala and saw 2 seals. Not together but close.
RW02 "PVKauai" was in the same spot "Squinty" was this morning. Apparently he was IDed as RNO4. As you'll see by the photo RW02 W04 tag has a faded W that could look as an N
RG40 "Holokai was just bellow our right beach access.
It was my day off, butt seals don't know that.... Still it's so much better than spending all day in Waikiki on big holidays (4th of July's, Xmas, New Year) with "Kermit, Irma, M&M and Rocky" More tomorrow
