Team Billand arrived at the outfall early morning, it was still somewhat dark, cloudy and rainy. Sure enough Kaale RH32 was there foraging. They watched him for a while and left the area to check out a couple of other beaches.
They did return about 4 hours later and he was still there foraging ( hmm wonder why he's such a chubbo ). The winds picked up and the rain was coming so they headed out.
Team Billand headed out to white plains, but there were no seals. They did have a chat with one of the surfers who mentioned a seal had been there earlier, and they put up some signs. Team Billand took the signs down since no one was there.
One of Team Billands stops on the Leeward side they found RN14 Kalani sleeping in a shallow pond. His tags were showing, natural cue ball is hidden from all the "green" algae buildup. They waited around and found no other seals in the area.
The last critter find for Team Billand was on the west side. They found Kekoa Alii RK72 alone snoozing in the rain and wind. His tags were visible, and he didn't seem to mind the weather. Team Billand stuck around for a little bit and then left for one more stop. With all the crappy weather it made it difficult to see any critter in the choppy waters. They decided to call it a day.
