Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:27 to 2:16 pm and there were a total of three seals seen during that time.
When Marilyn first arrived she only saw one seal but two others arrived later.
Initially alone at SRI was RK24 Bruno: adult size, newer coat, gray male belly and scar on lower lip, unsure about tags.
At 12:46 pm, a Sub-adult Male hauled out of the SRI channel andaround RK24. The SM may be R7AF: sub-adult size, new coat, light tan male belly; not sure about tags. Later the S/M moved down next to RK24 and when Marilyn looked at 2:06 pm both RK24 and S/M were gone.
At 12:48 pm an Unknown Adult hauled out at LPB. At first the seal was totally covered with sand. Later the sand fell off. The U/A was adult size, older coat, and at least one red tag, but unsure of its sex.
Team R&B had a late start today. When they arrived at pokai there was one seal hauled out. It was RM31 Kai, he was alone and remained all day.
Over on the rest-camp side there were multiple seals foraging. The first to be ID'd was RL20 Kalua.
The other two seals foraging and fighting were RH48 Lei Ola and R3CX Nalu. Neither of them hauled out while Team R&B were there.
Heading back to pokai for a recheck they did see one seal foraging. They could not make an ID other than an adult. The seal was reportedas an Unknown Adult.
They were also got to the dolphins further out.
But the most exciting sighting was on the set of the Moana movie. After weeks of watching them bring in the sets they finally spotted a star, none other than "The Rock" !
