November 26, 2024 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:27 to 1:55 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.
On the 1BS side of LPB were two seals:
Adult Male 1:  adult size, newer coat light gray male belly and two red tags, This may be RK24 Bruno, but Marilyn did not see either the lip or right rear scars to confirm.
About 15 feet closer to the 1BS was Adult Male 2: adult size, old coat, medium brown male belly, unsure about tags.
Between 3BS and SRI was Adult Male 3: adult size, old dark coat, dark male belly with some green, did not see any tags.
Near SRI were two seals:
Adult Female: smaller adult size, newer coat, light to medium gray female belly with mottled upper ventral and two red tags.
RT90 Manapua: large weaner size, tan coat, yellow male belly and two red tags. (this critter is too large to be RT19.)
Two separate Masked Booby pairs were about 30 feet from each other.

Team R&B checked out the usual spots. Finally they spotted Nalu R3CX hauled out near the cabins at rest-camp. He seems to like this spot. The lifeguards places signs out and around him.
There were no dolphins out either. Seems the schools of fish are gone. Well the eating was good while it lasted.

Next they headed over to yoks where they found their new favorite dude, RP28 Wakea. He was alone resting on shore. He moved up the beach after getting hit by a wave. They noted the right corner of his
mouth looks like he may have had a hook there. There is a tear in the corner, no site of the hook.

Also at yoks RG28 Lefty continues his molt. He was sleeping at an angle on shore. They saw the line was around his neck and the hook was visible. He is about 2% into his molt. Sadly there were no signs posted.
