October 9, 2026 Friday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:05 to 2:12 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.
On the Lanikai side of LPB was recent weaner RV76: large weaner size, light female belly and two red tags.
On the berm in the middle of LPB were three seals:
RV50: weaner size, female belly and three red tags; and
RK24 Bruno: adult size, old coat with scar on the right rear side, male belly and two red tags; and
Sub-adult Female: subadult size, new coat, light gray female belly, no obvious tags.
On the 1BS side of LPB was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size, old coat with lots of green, female belly and two red tags.

Team R&B were on the west side and spotted a little green seal from afar. They headed over and upon arrival they were able to ID RV20/V24.
They saw Miss Kala RH76 who is almost done with her molt, and looking much better. She had a lot of visitors today, so Team R&B stayed and kept watch. When all the people left, Team R&B left to look for more seals.

While on the road they saw a seal but the traffic was stopped so it took them a bit to get there. When they arrived at the site there were two seals fighting, one sub-adult size, female, who they ID'd as RS32.
She landed, but the smaller seal took off. The other seal was younger, green, dark eyes and two red tags. They weren't able to read the tags, but saw that it was a male.

Lastly they headed over to check on R407 at Nimitz.  He was more to the right of where he had been during his molt. However he is officially done molting and looking handsome. Mahalo to posse pal Carol for keeping an eye on him.
