Team T&D's update is from Thursday when they hiked Ka'ena Point. They had five seals during their hike, the first was RL98 Lina, next was RW02 PvKauai and their third find was RL74 Kami. Their next find was R3CU who was resting on the runway, his wound looks dry and pretty much healed up. The last find was R3CX Nalu hidden in some rocks at the point.
The highlight of the day was when they were out at the point and three people came up asking if there were any seals. One guy in the group had moved here a few years ago and brought two friends that were visiting to see the seals. Team T&D pointed out Nalu. The woman in the group started walking to the shoreline to get closer, before Team T&D could say anything, the guy called out to her to stop, not to get close and the seals were endangered and then proceeded to tell her "the rule of thumb". What makes this so special is at some point someone did outreach with this guy and he is now carrying the message forward. 
Team R&B saw Kaale RH32 in the outfall doing his usual routine of foraging and stealing fish. He took off out of the outfall and was heading towards a beach nearby. Team R&B left the outfall and headed over and by the time they arrived Kaale was coming into the area. He went into the pond and well basically used it as a toilet. He went around the rocks, entered the seal inlet and was looking over the rocks maybe for Lei Ola. Too bad she wasn't there. They noticed Kaale has a small hook in his chest area. He is fine and they noticed today that it was a hook. It was actually there yesterday but they thought it was a flower.
Team R&B called it a day by 10:30 as Robert was not feeling well. I wish him well and hope he gets better soon.
