Today's dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕.
Team R&B were out early morning and found nothing but did see some fishermen with this big catch. They did see RN14 Kalani foraging off the outfall, and briefly into the outfall. He headed out to tracks and Team R&B called the hotline as he hauled in. Kalani is looking big and healthy and they are happy to report there were no lines or hooks. They hung around and talked to people who were interested in Kalani. Before they left the site they put up a make-shift zone on one side.
At another westside site Team R&B found RL20 Kalua again. They spoke to a few of the homeless
folks in the area and they all said the little green seal has been around for the last five days. Team R&B only found him yesterday. They watched over him for an hour or so and he was in a deep sleep with the waves washing over him. Maybe he's in a pre-molt state since he is so green.Team R&B was thrilled to find Lei Ola RH48 at their next stop. She was on the rocks moving about and looking nice and plump. She's acting like she's hiding from the boys, as she kept looking around. Team R&B didn't see any other critters while they were there. They did not stay long due to the limited parking situation.
On their travels they saw people walking out of yoks grumbling, apparently the cops were leaving and a tow truck with a red vehicle. While watching this take place they spotted a hind flipper between the rocks. At first they thought of RL42 but it wasn't. The critter showed his tags and it was R3CU hanging out in her spot.
As they were driving along the coast they spotted another seal on the rocks. There was RE74 da Benny all alone enjoying his siesta. They took a few photos and left to keep his spot safe. Benny is looking fat and old but he's doing okay.
