04/21/21 Wednesday Monk Seal Dailies

They started early morning at the bay, and saw one seal.  They were able to ID Kaale by his applied bleach mark while he was busy foraging. 

They also spotted a boobie fishing too. The boobie went after the fishing lures as they were tossed out. The fishermen left, the bird landed on the boat to rest and clean up.

Team R&B got a call from a friend that there was a seal at paradise cove. They were close by so they went and found Kolohe RW22 on the rocks snoozing. There were lots of people out waiting to chase after the turtles.  A few times people got too close to Kolohe, so Team R&B asked them give the seal some space. Most listened, the others well ....   

They called the hotline and waited, they stayed for over two hours. After a while it was too much with all the people getting too close to Kolohe. 

For thee 3rd day they found little green RL20 Kalua in the same spot snoozing on the rocks. They checked early morning and he wasn't there, but there late afternoon check is when they found him. He seems fine, very green and getting some good sleep.
