Team T&D hiked out to ka'ena point and met up with Lesley. They spotted the same four seals as yesterday. RL98 Lina moved away from the nasty firepit and onto a better beach. Next was RW02 PvKauai who finally started his molt. RL74 Kami was on a little patch of beach. Lastly was Squinty R330, was half in the water making it hard to ID him at first.
Team Billand did an early morning session from 6:15 to 8:15 and
afternoon 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the bay. They found Lei Ola RH48 swimming all over, by the jetty with Nalu and by the boats. R3CX Nalu spent most of his time by the jetty with Lei Ola. Ka'ale RH32 surprisingly was hauled out sleeping on the rocks looking really dry.
Just before 9 they found Benny hauled out on a west side beach. He was way up inland and by the time they made it out there were big waves causing him to move. He remained on the beach. He is finally about 50% molted, seems getting in the water is helping his progress.
Mid morning they found RL70 Leina on mid rocks, water was coming in all around her. She was ID'd by her facial scars and white digits. While watching over her they spotted Kekoa RK72 foraging doing 6 minute dives in really rough surf. They could see the bumps on his left side.
