Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand.
Team Billand spotted Benny RE74 from afar at 6:35 am. He was snoozing, but when they got closer to him he moved and looked like he was going to leave. They heard "gun shots" from the valley, perhaps some hunters. Benny kept scooting closer to the water, then he just left the site.
They headed over to the bay at 7 am. When they arrived it was really
difficult to tell who was who. There were multiple animals, at times fighting which added to the confusion. All the animals were on the ocean side of the Jetty and later they moved inside the bay. Then they left again for the open ocean still fighting/playing.On their afternoon visit the three usual suspects, Lei Ola, Nalu and L20 were there. Team Billand was thrilled to see in their photos when they got home that RL70 Leina was also in the mix with them.
At another west side location they came across Kekoa Alii. He was on lower rocks snoozing and battling the surf.
In the morning hours they found Ka'ale at one location and then in the afternoon he hauled out at another. The boy moves around. They originally spotted him from afar, and when they got closer he was getting comfortable until he noticed a swimmer and then he took off. At 1:15 he landed at a different beach and was able to get some rest.
Along with the seal critters they saw the dolphins swimming around unfortunately there were people in the water with them. They spotted the Iwa flying by and the Boobie was taking a rest.
