Team R&B's first find of the day was the handsome Kekoa Alii RK72. He popped out of the water, checking out the area looking around. He kept going in a westerly direction. He later landed at another west side location.
Shortly after Kekoa took off RH32 Kaale came in, he looked on shore, over the rocks. He made his way up all while keeping his mouth open. They could see dark spots on the bottom of gums, but could not see any hooks. Kaale finally settled down and went to sleep. Thankfully Melody was available and nice enough to take over and keep an eye on Kaale.
At another west side location where they found Kekoa had hauled out. There was also another big seal, who was RN14 Kalani, they were both up on the rocks.
Off to another area, they found a seal already snoozing in a tiny water hole. It was R3CU who would later move to another waterhole that hardly had any water in it.
RP84 in a small water spot, nice and comfy. When R3CU landed in his waterhole, RP84 woke up and was startled. He kept looking over to the big seal.
Then there was RW02 PvKaui below RP84 in the shallows.
Heading over and checking out the bay, they found RL20 on the rocks snoozing. They could see the scars on the right side of his mouth from a previous hooking.
Next to RL20 was Nalu R3CX, both resting peacefully.
On their last stop they found a seal in the distance on shore. It looked to be a female with tags so they walked out to check. There was RL42 Leia snoozing away alone. She would move up a bit away from the water. She is looking healthy and quite a "fatso". lol While there they met a really nice girl from Seattle who had a lot of questions. She said the seal was on shore when she got to the beach around 1:00. Always nice to meet up with people who are interested and respectful.
