02/13/2022 Sunday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by posse pals Justin T, Amy and Team R&B💕

Justin was on the east side today and enjoying the whales. He did see one monk seal about 11:30 this morning. It was RM26 Nohea (Kaiwi's 2020 pup), Justin called into the hotline. Although they only could see the right side of her mouth there were no signs of hooks or lines. She looked to be in good condition snoozing her morning away.

In yesterdays news department west side posse pal Amy was at the beach with four males. She took some video of the boys being boys. I suggest you get a cup of coffee because its close to seven minutes of Kaale, Kalani, Lefty and Kekoa Alii in action.   Thank you Amy for putting this together and sharing.

Team R&B started their day with RG28 Lefty at a west side site. He was alone snoozing hidden in the
rocks. A lot different than his hanging out with the boys yesterday.  Team R&B were also treated with an amazing show from the whales. They were breaching and did not disappoint at all.

They got caught up watching the whale action and eventually pulled themselves away to check yesterdays popular location. There on shore was one lone seal, RN14 Kalani. They put up signs and educated the folks that came by.  Thankfully Dana HMSPO came by and took over for them.

From there they went back to check on Lefty. They were so happy they went back because NOW his buddies were there with him.  RH32 Kaale was with Lefty and Kekoa Alii RK72 was off to the side.

After spending some time with the boys they headed over to the bay. They saw people on the rocks but no seals. Then they spotted a seal swimming around the rocks and landing. He landed cautiously and seemed "bothered".  They ID'd RL20 Kalua who looked okay but a little nervous.

On their last stop they spotted a seal from a distance in a little zone set up by the life guards. It was Nalu R3CX on shore alone. He was very sandy but thankfully his tag was visible.
Then to their delight there was RL42 Leia with her son Kai RM31 snoozing on shore peacefully. So amazing they tend to find each other and sleep side by side.
