Team R&B started out and arrived at a west side spot very early. While walking the beach they saw some movement, and there was a seal. Not just any seal it was da Benny RE74 and he was leaving. They had about 30 seconds to get photos and make the ID. The boy is back on island.
After seeing Benny they headed to another site and waited for seals. They spoke to tourists who werealso looking for seals, it was actually an nice connection with people from the mainland. Although there were no seals, there were whales. They hung out and watched the whales with the tourist.
Then they saw RN14 Kalani who is back from Molokai. Seems all our boys are returning home.
Team R&B headed over to another west side location and found RW02 PvKauai in the shallows. Shortly after he hauled up on lower rocks and was alone.
Also they finally found RP84 Pe'ekai hiding behind a rock formation. He was well hidden and comfortable.
Later in the afternoon they went and did a recheck. The waves were high and covering much of the area. RW02 moved up to stay dry. Pe'ekai moved all the way in the rocks and was clinging on.
They headed over to the bay and found R3CX Nalu asleep on the rocks. He looks good and his shark bite is all healed. Next to Nalu was RL20 Kalua also in sleep mode.
Team R&B had made a stop at one of the busy beaches and all while they were there no seals came by. They left the area, only to receive a call later that a seal had landed. Posse pal Amy went to check and found Kekoa Alii RK72. By the time Team R&B arrived Amy had found another seal hauled up on shore, it was RH32 Kaale.
