In yesterdays news department we have a couple of seals that Team R&B found. The email got lost in the shuffle. They found R3CU snoozing on high rocks, and eventually moved to the tiny ponds to cool off. They found him on their first look in the morning and again later in the afternoon.
RP84 Pe'ekai was on his back, chilling lower rocks. He is looking as cute as ever!
The third critter took them a while to ID, R407 Kawika who was upper mid rocks. Finally they were able to confirm his ID through their photos. Its been a bit since they have seen him. He's looking good and healthy.
This morning when they went back to the same site they found RW02 PvKauai. He was on upper leftrocks snoozing. Lefty RG28 was next to him, settled in and resting. Then off to the right was R3CU.
The only seal they found today at the bay was RL20 Kalua. He was scooting about on the rocks. then settled for a nice warm nap.
Team R&B made the drive further west and found RM31 Kai on shore. Today he was alone without his Momma today.
They headed back to check on the group they spotted earlier in the day. They saw Pe'ekai on the rocks seems he arrived after their first visit. Pe'ekai had company, the lovely RL70 Leina on the rocks. She's looking heavier than the last time they saw her. She must have found some good food to fill up on.
