02/11/2022 Friday's Dailies

First and foremost I am okay.  I apologize for the delay in last nights dailies, everything was completed but I forgot to hit the publish button.  (kind of like writing an email and forgetting to send).  I appreciate the text and emails from my monk seal ohana asking if everything was okay.  Guess there is some benefit to being predictable.    Okay onward an upward to todays dailies, brought to you by Team R&B💕

They started at one of the more populated beaches. As soon as they arrived they knew a seal was on shore, as everyone was standing around taking photos. Team R&B ID'd RK72 Kekoa Alii. Then another seal came in it was RG28 Lefty. The two males greeted each other with sniffs and then they both took off going in a westerly direction.
They took down the signs and waited. People were coming and going as they waited. They could still see the two males splashing about in the water, then they lost sight of them.  One of the folks came running over telling them Hurry there's a seal !! Hurry people are getting too close and not letting it come on shore. Team R&B hurried over and only saw the seal for a second and then it was gone. Another helpful person told them that the seal had the number N24 on its body.  Team R&B concluded that it was Lefty RG28 who has an applied bleach number N29.  Melody was there and left her number with some of the folks who saw the seal in case it came back. They went back to the other side and there was Lefty RG28 back again alone. They posted the sign again.  Team R&B had to head out so Melody stayed to hold down the fort.

After taking care of some personal appointments Team R&B arrived at another site. They were treated to lots of whales in full action. Certainly a cool way to pass the time.
They spotted a seal on the rocks. There was Kekoa Alii RK72, he must of arrived here after they saw in earlier.
Then there was another seal next to him. They were happy to see it was Kaale RH32. They hadn't seen him in a few days, so it was good to see him hauled out resting. The two boys were resting and doing well.

Next stop to another west side location they found RL08 resting on the rocks alone. His tags and CC scar under his belly were visible.
They spotted a seal in the pond snoozing. It was R330 Squinty, his line scar on mid head showing and no tags, not to mention his infamous left eye. He isn't on this side very often so they always happy to see him.
That was all the seals they found today, but they did see lots of whales.
