02/15/2022 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Lesley and Team R&B💕.  Lesley's weekly Ka'ena update is part two of todays dailies. It was a busy week.

Team R&B headed over one of the busy beaches and saw two seals on shore. They were up at the naupaka bushes close to a gate.  This presented a problem in getting the signs that are kept by the gate. Thankfully one of the workers was on the other side and was able to safely toss them the signs.  The two seals were RL12 Aukai and RH32 Kaale.
Team R&B met a gentleman (Denny) who is an author and was upset by the people who kept
approaching the seals. He tried to get them to move back and they wouldn't listen. Team R&B welcomed him to their world with the seals.  Denny helped put out the signs and Team R&B filled him about the seals.
They hung out educating and doing outreach. Another woman walked right into the zone and never turned around kept going. Shame she was so unaware. Posse pal Amy came by to help out and thankfully she did since because the crowd got huge. Amy immediately went into outreach and education mode. She's been great!
Team R&B were leaving BUT spotted two more seals. They tried to wave down Amy to prepare for more seals. Then they saw a volunteer arrived with signs. They filled her in on the two seals. They ID'd Kekoa Alii RK72 and the other seal had an applied bleach number, who turned out to be RN14 Kalani.
After some water playing they came around the rocks and entered the cove. Kalani RN14 was very vocal, Kekoa Alii barked back. They both landed and headed directly to Ka'ale and Aukai on shore.
Ka'ale heard the boys, and he postured to look. They all eventually settled on shore. Amy continued her outreach with the tourist.
On the way to their car they took a peek at the American Idol auditions. They saw one woman who was very girl and attractive.

At another west side location they found RP84 Pe'ekai on the rocks. The waves came in and he got blown off but he fought back. The waves rolled him about and he swam back in like a salmon.
He made it inland, hid by a rock. There were more waves but he hid in between the rocks. He's a very determined little soul.

Last stop they looked around and didn't see anything so they spent some time watching the huge waves.
They noticed a trail, like a seal trail, so they went to check it out. There was RL42 Leia nice and snug all the way up. No wonder she was so high up with the powerful surf.
