Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:47 to 2:32 pm and there were seven seals seen during that time.
Once again on the rocks on the Lanikai side of LPB was R416 Makali'i: sub-adult size, very light male belly with distinctive scars and pigmented patches, and no tags.
On LPB were three seals:
RK24 Bruno: adult size, 95% molted, light make belly, two red tags and scar on right rear side.
Mega Weaner RT90 Manapua: large weaner size, yellow gold male belly and two red tags.
About 1:30 pm Marilyn realize that RT90 was not on the beach, A short time later she spotted him in the water with what is likely RT19. She saw the two of them playing along the shore over an hour. They did not haul out again while she was watching.
Near 2BS was the Sub-adult Female who had been in this location for several days: small sub-adult size, new coat, light female belly and two red tags.
Near the water line between 3BS and SRI was R7AF: sub-adult size, light male belly, with at least one red tag.
Team R&B arrived at pokai this morning and was disappointed as there were no seals. They been spoiled lately since they have been there daily. So they hung out and waited. Sure enough they spotted a seal galumphing up on the upper rocks. This of course made them very happy. It was RM31 Kai and he was alone.
Next they took the ride over to rest-camp and there were four seals busy out in the water foraging.
Aukai RL12 was hanging out with R3CX Nalu. R3CX is looking quite green, it will be interesting when he molts.
Then there was the green snout seal was also out there. Team R&B determined it has one red tag and believe it is a female. They really want to know who this seal is.
They also spotted the newly molted and very handsome RL20 Kalua. He has a clean new coat, and it was amazing how quickly he molted.
Team R&B went searching for RL42 but didn't find her today. They did find a seal snoozing in a pond. Of course the seal didn't move so it took time to make an ID. Based on the scars on its forehead they ID'd RG32.
