I can safely say they had a very challenging day, in that all the seals they saw today were in the water.
They started viewing multiple seals in the water out in a school of fish. There were at least three seals they were watching. The first two looks like R3CX Nalu and RH48 Lei Ola.
The third seal they couldn't make the call, so they reported it as an Unknown Adult. At one point the U/A was with Lei Ola RH48. Just as the seals got really active and above water, they got a call so they missed all the action.
Just to give an idea of their dedication, they reviewed all 350 photos to see if they could make the ID.
Next they made a quick stop at the cliffs. There on shore was another seal that was difficult to ID. Thankfully she finally moved and showed them was they needed to see to confirm her ID. Leia RL42.
Next stop was at Kahe where they spotted one seal foraging and lots of people in the water. Then they saw another seal in the same area. They were able to ID RM31 Kai and RL20 Kalua. When a third seal appeared they could only determine it had a big scar under its belly, they just not sure who it is. There was lots of splashing going on, the seals kept changing the area getting away from the people. They stayed for an hour trying to get an ID. The seal with the scar has a clean coat, they think it was a male, and possibly a cc scar on right fore flipper. Which could be RL98 but they just not sure.
They headed back to rest-camp for a recheck. The seals were still foraging. They got one last look at two of them, one being R3CX and the other is the unknown adult with a stub of a tag.
