Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:50 to 3:05 pm and there were four seals seen during that time.
About 20 feet apart down from 1BS were two seals:
R7AF: sub-adult size, light to medium gray male belly, fully molted, two red tags.
Adult Male: adult size, older coat, golden brown male belly, at least one red tag. He may have a scar on rear right side. (RK24?)
Near each other near the water line down from the 3BS were two seals:
Sub-adult Female: small sub-adult size, old coat, yellowish brown female belly, unsure about tags. One tag looks like its gray.
Adult Female: adult size, newer coat, medium gray female belly and two red tags.
Team R&B started their day at pokai, where they spotted a seal alone on the rocks. The seal had a clean coat, right flipper has a cc scar, and that was what they needed to ID RL98 Lina. They were thrilled to see her again.
The chanters arrived and Team R&B pointed RL98 to them. They were happy to see her and then they chanted. RL98 became alert, looked around checking out the noise. The chanters finished and were grateful to have RL98 there.
RL98 Lina left on her own and went to forage in the jetty/rock area. They think she caught a taco!
At another west side location they saw a green male up on the rocks
again. Today they were able to see his tag and it was RL20 Kalua. They realized it was the same seal asyesterday that they couldn't ID. He was way up inland and in a good spot. It appears he has begun his molt.

While on location they were happy to find Miss Kala RH76. She was away from RL20 up on the rocks. She was very cooperative showing one of her tags.
Team R&B did their regular routine but didn't find any more seals today.
