09/22/2021 Wednesday Monk Seal Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Lesley and Team R&B💕.  Lesley's update is part two of the dailies. Make sure you check it out, there was a big find today.

Team R&B did a quick check this morning at the bay. The only critter they saw was RH32 Kaale hanging out by the shore checking things out. He did one pass then he was out of the bay and gone.

They went and checked out tracks and found RN14 Kalani on shore. There were a couple of guys hanging out just talking right above him.  They did an afternoon check and Kalani was gone, but there was one guy sitting in the very spot where he had been.

Team R&B headed over to the outfall and watched and waited for a bit. Lucky enough a seal showed

up, it was Benny RE74. Then they saw Lefty RG28 who met up with Benny and fought. There was lots of splashing, white water and then they broke apart.  Lefty moved further out, came back in and fought with Benny again.  Team R&B stayed for just a bit more to watch the boys.  

Team R&B had to end their day early but not before finding a white fluffy chick looking for its parents. Hopefully the tern's parents will return soon with some food.
