Today's dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕.
They arrived early morning at the bay and yes once again RL20 Kalua was foraging. They did not stay as they had an appointment. On their afternoon check he was not there, nor did they see him hauled out anywhere.
Its been awhile since they had seen any seals in the outfall. This morning a fishers wife texted them there were two seals. They headed over hoping the seals would still be there. One seal was Da Benny RE74 foraging and arguing with the other seal, who was ID'd as Lefty RG28. There was a 3rd seal which they thought was Kaale RH32, but they reported as an adult unknown.
Team R&B returned to the bay looking for RL20 and spotted a seal trying to haul up on the rocks.
There were two local girls sitting right there and unfortunately didn't move out the way. It was Kaale RH32, who kept moving on until they lost sight of him.Next stop they saw a seal on shore and when they got closer they could see R3CX Nalu. He was on shore once again on shore covered in sand. They think there may be a spot on his neck area, beginning his molt.
They were thrilled to find their last seal of the day. The little seal was on the rocks snoozing alone. It was little Mr. Puka RP30 looking cuter than cute. He's doing just fine on his own getting around in life.
