09/15/2021 Wednesday Monk Seal Dailies

The usual morning stop and visit with RL20 Kalua at the bay. Today the kid was seen all over the bay today chasing schools of fish. He stole and ate four fish from a fisher friend of theirs.  When he goes after the lines, he makes a wake, little buggah moving fast. Da Dunt, Da Dunt, Dunt Dunt Dunt.

On their afternoon check they found the green kid hauled out on land. They could still see a light line coming from his mouth. He seems just fine. He got a mean scar under his chin corner of his mouth. Probably from previous hooks.

They found RN14 alone snoozing on the rocks. Staying out of trouble today.

Then Team R&B got a tip that there was a seal on shore at another location. So they headed over and there was Leia RL42.  She looks good, kind of restless, flipping right to left and looking around. Moved to the water line and then goes on her side.  (maybe Kalani had been around earlier)

In the rocks, they spotted a green seal with raccoon eyes. They were surprised and thrilled to see it was RM31 Kai, it has been awhile.  There were some fishers that came in the afternoon and passed right by him. The little one postured, but just to look. Team R&B hung around to make sure he was safe. Thankfully all was good. Kai's N4 applied bleach still showing, and he's looking healthy.
