It was a beautiful day out here. Yesterday we had a downpour in the morning, It was so nice to drive without the big dust cloud all around.
RL98 Lina overnighted and spent the day on "her" beach
R407 Kawika was sleeping on the same reefs I saw him all week
R330 Squinty was in a micro tide pool enjoying himself
RN04 Kainoa came by for a visit today. I hadn't seen him for a while and found him high and dry on some reefs.
RO40 Ka'ena had been swimming around and ended up near Kainoa "barking" away till Kainoa woke up and moved closer. They had words and Kainoa left.
RH76 Kala overnighted up high on the beach and made her way down to the waterline where she spent the day. She had the visit of Ka'ena a couple of times and completely ignored him.
Met a hiker that showed me photos of RP30 Puka on the Keawa'ula side on Monday. This is his third documented visit to the west side. And today he was also seen on the west side. Weaners will always keep us on our tip toes
I got to document the visit of a Brown Noddy / Noio Koha always nice to see these seabirds visiting the point.
More soon - Be safe
