The morning started with RL20 Kalua on the ocean side of the jetty foraging. He had a few moments when he helped himself to some of the fishers catch. On their recheck later in the day he had landed. They found him on the rocks snoozing.
Team R&B went over to the outfall and watched a seal foraging in and out of the outfall. It was difficult to see but they determined it was RH32 Kaale hanging around his old stomping grounds. He would leave the area heading in the Honolulu direction. They found Kaale hauled out on the rocks at a nearby location. It looked like he had just hauled out.
Next stop they found RG28 Lefty at tracks. A woman in the area put up one sign, and mentioned avolunteer had removed the other signs the other evening. Team R&B thanked her for her efforts for keeping an eye on Lefty snoozing alone.
On the west side once again they found Mr. Nalu R3CX snoozing. He was kind of close to a couple sitting under an umbrella. There was not disturbance reported. Team R&B could see that he had started his molt. Very little maybe about 1 or 2& but thankfully it has started.
They came across RL42 Leia snoozing in a shallow pond. Her hind flippers were visible making for a positive ID.
Lastly at another west side location they found RL70 Leina. She was on lower rocks snoozing alone. She is minty green with raccoon eyes. They did not get a look at her belly to see if she has started her molt.
