They headed out very early and enjoyed their breakfast on the beach. They spotted a seal swimming past and knew it was Kolohe RW22 because of the wound on his snout. They also spotted RL20 Kalua but he was way past the jetty at this time.
Kolohe was swimming right next to a woman collecting marine debris, poor woman had no idea he was tight next to her. Finally Kolohe would land a little past 7 at the restcamp end. Team R&B were able to get people back except on jogger who was clueless because of her earbuds. She got a good surprise when she came up on Kolohe. Team R&B was able to obtain a couple of cones from a gentleman named Matt who is part of the army. They called the hotline and volunteer arrived by 8:30.
Team R&B left and headed over to another west side site. They were thrilled to find Lei Ola RH48. Lei Ola was resting on the rocks looking quite pretty healthy and content. When they did a re-check she was in the same spot.
They went to recheck on Kolohe and saw he was still on shore at the jetty. Unfortunately people were in the zone, and no volunteer on site. They were beyond thrilled to find RL20 Kalua had hauled out. He was on the rocks snoozing in peace. They were able to get a good look at the little green bugga!
Back to another west site location they saw Kala RH76 on the rocks snoozing. It was by chance they noticed the head of another seal hidden. They were able to get a look and it was R3CX Nalu keeping close to her in a small tiny pond.
