08/24/2021 Tuesday Monk Seal Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Lesley and Team R&B💕.  Lesley's Ka'ena update is part two of the dailies.

Team R&B arrived at the bay to hear from the fishers there were two seals there. They sat and studied the water and right off they spotted the little green male, RL20 near the jetty. He tried to go for the fish caught by the fishers but missed.  Then they spotted RH32 Kaale zooming past all of them looking around. They caught a glimpse of his tag and raccoon eye. He let out big bellows as if he was frustrated for missing the fish.  Team R&B stayed for an hour and then left the site.

Next they spotted two seal on shore at tracks. There was RG28 Lefty and RL12 Aukai. Lefty barely

moved even when he was hit with the waves. Aukai was to his right and moved up around him after she was hit with waves. She is looking beautiful in her new coat.

At another west site location they were happy to find two males one the rocks. There was Nalu R3CX and RN14 Kalani resting peacefully and staying out of trouble.  

Lastly Team R&B were surprised to find RL42 Leia at a west side beach which she hadn't been seen before. She was stretched out on shore resting in peace. Looks like she was there for a while. Her tags were visible and her sleek new coat, since she recently finished her molt.
