08/17/2021 Tuesday Monk Seal Dailie

Today's dailies are short and sweet, brought to you by  Lesley and Team R&B💕.  Because they had an appointment today they were only able to search for seals for a short time. Lesley's Ka'ena  update is part two.

On their way they stopped off at tracks to do a quick check. At first they didn't see anything but the surfers and homeless folks.  Then out of nowhere a seal popped out of the water, came on shore looking everywhere. He was happy with a tent near by and took off. Team R&B was able to ID the seal as RG28 Lefty. He headed out and went all the way westerly and checked out another spot towards Nanakuli, and he didn't stay there either.  Then Lefty came back their way, with his head above water looking around and then just vanished from their sight.  (poor dude is probably looking for Aukai).
