Team R&B first saw Kaale RH32 foraging at the outfall what seemed like forever. They gave up and left the site.
Later at noon they spotted a seal on shore from afar at tracks. They went over and there was Kaale snoozing. One of the guys on site approached Team R&B and wondered where they were, because as the seal came in folks rushed over. He told one of the kids to back away. I am sure after days of crowds around the seals this made Team R&B feel good that someone is out there and cares.
Team R&B got a call of two seals at in Lagoon 2. They were waiting for the traffic to clear and headed off as soon as they could. When they arrive they see RN14 Kalani vocalizing at a woman swimmer, She had just finished her laps and met up with the two seals. Kalani was not happy with her on the shoreline and he went after her and barked out. People were yelling to the woman "Get Out Get Out!!" Securiy was yelling to get out of the way. But the swimmer just stood there talking to the two seals. RN14 Kalani barked at her she was close, and thankfully she got out of the way.
At another west side location there were four seals today. There was RW02 PvKauai on lower rocks, Kekoa Alii RK72 on lower rocks and RH76 Kala, and lastly was R3CU near seal inlet.
Last stop was at the bay and today they only found the beautiful Lei Ola RH48.
