02/05/2021 Friday (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

 

What a wet morning !! Needless to say, the park roads are saturated, and puddles are giant.

Got 2 downpours on my way to the point, had to sit and wait for them to blow by. Even whale watching was hard today.

The Albatross chicks are doing fine, most of them were dry. Parents did a great job sheltering them.

Little RL98 Lina was sleeping peacefully and spent all day in the same place. R3CU overnighted and was solo, he also spent the day in the same place.

Great news this afternoon: little PO4 "Kai" (marked N4) got his blings and is now officially RM31 Mahalo teams!
