Team R&B 💕 got to tracks and found a seal high up on shore snoozing. They ID'd R407 Kawika and call it into the hotline. While watching him they noticed a green kayak on the water using a creative paddle. Turns out they had one of the seal signs on a pole as a paddle. They also spotted someone riding their bike along the beach right by Kawika.
Team R&B 💕 got to the outfall and saw one seal who was Kaale RH32 foraging. They watched him
From a distance they saw another seal had joined R407 Kawika. It was RG28 Lefty and both of them got into the water for some playtime.
Team R&B 💕 left for another westside location. When they arrived they saw three seal already on the rocks. There was Kekoa Alii RK72, RH76 Kala on mid upper rocks and RN44 on lower rocks.
Winding down their day they saw a fat seal snoozing at the cliffs. It was alone and on its belly, they were able to ID R3CU.
Just as they were calling it a day they got a call from Paradise Cove that a seal was on site. They went to check and found Kolohe RW22 on the rocks. Some good folks put up signs. Just after a frantic security guard came running out after two people that had a dog and it attacked the seal. Team R&B 💕 ran down to see what was going on. They saw Kolohe and he quickly hauled up and stayed on the rocks. They asked several people what they saw, all said the dog ran after the seal, the seal barked and the dog took off. They took a good look at Kolohe, there were no injuries and no bites. He was fine, they called the hotline to inform. That was it they were done for the day.
